About the event

How to Practice for Auditions

College, Graduate and Professional Orchestral Audition Preparation

A sneak peak into one of my Audition Consultation Power Hour.

This live 60-minute seminar is geared toward instrumental musicians preparing for college, conservatory, graduate-school, or orchestral auditions who need a clear and realistic preparation strategy.

Audition preparation cannot be approached like ordinary weekly practice. Auditions have specific repertoire requirements, fixed deadlines, multiple rounds, and high-pressure performance demands.

A student preparing for a prescreening recording and live conservatory audition requires a different plan from a musician preparing for an orchestral audition—even when both musicians currently perform at a similar level.
